Our client’s company was founded back in 2001 as a foundation for the existing passion and obsession for perfumery in three perfume brands and currently have over 100 shops in the GCC.

 

From perfumes they have expanded their unique Emirati concepts into Food & Beverage with two different restaurant brands for which they are now hiring an exceptional Training Manager – an extremely passionate person who knows exactly how to pick, motivate, and retain the right people. Someone who tirelessly continuously train them to keep them in the top league of delivering an outstanding service, which the customers will always remember.

 

Job Description

As the Training Manager you will have responsibility for both the development and delivery of training courses for staff and volunteers as well as taking care of the general wellbeing of staff and customers. This role would suit an experienced training delivery practitioner with great interpersonal skills and a passionate commitment and loyalty to the team and organization.


  • Review and identify current training needs, plan and implement a training program for the organization and other external learners
  • Identify current and future training needs for the organization
  • Plan and deliver high-quality inductions for new starters
  • Undertake regular organization-wide training needs analysis for the staff and build a training plan based on needs
  • Create, maintain, and update a training matrix/log and create a database of potential learners and attendees for the courses
  • Report back to senior management on course feedback and key learnings
  • Design, organize, and promote a range of high-quality courses for staff i.e. induction/core training, on-the-job training, soft skills training, leadership training, cross training etc.
  • Full business responsibility for the development of the training arm of the restaurants
  • Collect relevant data relating to course feedback and key learning
  • Focus on delivering positive customer outcomes and managing risk associated with training
  • Oversee compliant and robust processes through actively managing internal processes and procedures.


Qualifications 

  • Experience as a Training Manager in the hospitality industry
  • Experience in developing and implementing training programs
  • Knowledge of various training methods including coaching, creation and hosting of workshops, classroom training, mentoring
  • Able to track the performance of the training programs, write reports and suggest strategies for improvement to make sure the restaurants constantly delivers above the expectations
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Has outstanding IT and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Comes across as an empathetic, engaging, powerful, passionate person with high interpersonal skills
